Terms of Use

The service

ShiftMoon is a personal shift-planning, work-hours and pay-estimation tool. It does not clock you into your employer’s timekeeping system or verify the hours you enter. You are responsible for checking your own entries and your employer’s official roster and records.

Estimates and planning

Pay estimates depend on the hours, rates, allowances, overtime rules, deductions and tax information entered. Forecasts can include work not yet confirmed. These are not official payslips, payroll, legal, financial or tax advice. Your actual payslip is authoritative. Sleep suggestions, notifications and alarms are planning aids; availability and delivery depend on your device, permissions and operating system. They do not guarantee sleep or medical outcomes.

Accounts and Cloud

Cloud Sync is free and optional. Keep sign-in credentials secure and use a single intended account across devices. Turning sync off keeps the existing cloud copy. You may delete the cloud copy or account in the app. Offline copies remain local until erased. Do not upload unlawful content or interfere with the service.

Premium and purchases

Premium is offered through Apple as monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Available features, local prices, any eligible introductory trial and purchase conditions are displayed in the app before purchase.

Subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple may charge within 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in Apple Account settings. If a trial is offered, unused trial time may be forfeited when purchasing. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

Lifetime is a one-time purchase for Premium access without automatic renewal or a fixed expiry. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Restore purchases in the app using the Apple Account that made the purchase.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available, subject to applicable consumer rights. Keep a backup of important information and check critical schedules, alarms and pay against official records. Future releases, integrations and Android availability are not guaranteed by this page. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy, software terms and changes

The Privacy Policy explains data handling. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app where applicable. Material changes to these service terms will be posted here. Contact support@shiftmoon.app for support.
